And here are the people moves we've tracked during the week of May 12 to May 16.

CrowdStrike’s new CCO: CrowdStrike has named Brad Burns as Chief Communications Officer. Brad Burns joins CrowdStrike from Snowflake, where he served as Chief Communications Officer—a role he also held at Salesforce. Prior to that, he led corporate communications at AT&T Communications. With more than 20 years of experience shaping messaging and scaling communications teams, Burns will focus on advancing CrowdStrike’s positioning in the market and strengthening engagement with government stakeholders as cybersecurity policy continues to evolve.

Alpha Omega appoints new COO: Alpha Omega has appointed Eric Laychock as Chief Operating Officer.  With more than 15 years of federal experience—including a 13-year tenure at KPMG where he helped scale its federal business past $500 million—Laychock brings a proven track record of operational discipline and growth execution.

Databricks appoints SVP of Product Ecosystem and Partnerships: Databricks has brought on Stephen Orban as senior vice president of product ecosystem and partnerships, tapping his deep experience from Google Cloud and AWS to expand its global partner network. Orban, who led ISV and migration strategy at Google Cloud and previously ran AWS Marketplace and partner services will focus on accelerating partner growth and make Databricks the go-to platform for data and AI.

Barracuda appoints SVP – Global Channels and Alliances: Barracuda has appointed Michelle Hodges as Barracuda Networks’ new SVP of Global Channels and Alliances. She brings two decades of experience from companies like Ivanti, Microsoft, and VMware. Known across the cybersecurity ecosystem, Hodges takes the reins from Jason Beal and will drive Barracuda’s global channel strategy while deepening partner engagement.

SpyCloud appoints Chief Revenue Officer: SpyCloud has appointed Brad Rouse as Chief Revenue Officer. Bringing over 30 years of experience in enterprise security and sales leadership, Rouse previously served as CRO at Protegrity and held senior roles at Entrust, Gemalto, Ping Identity, and IBM.

FatPipe appoints Executive Team to Drive Global Growth: FatPipe has announced a slate of executive appointments to support its global expansion. Notable appointments include Tom Aufiero as SVP of Sales, Cybersecurity; Matt Swift as VP of Mid-Market Sales; Eric Sherb as CFO; Stephen Steel as VP of Product Management; Harish Motwani as EVP of Strategic Business and Solution Sales; and Praveen Shinde as VP of Sales, India. These hires are part of a broader strategy to deepen FatPipe’s presence across the U.S., India, Southeast Asia, and Mexico, and support the growing demand for secure and scalable enterprise connectivity.
